LATEST NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

We can help you with our submission service that will connect you with film industry people via e-mail or postal mail.  This service includes guidelines on writing an effective query and a review of your letter before it goes out to be sure you are sending out a good letter.   After we help you finalize your letter, it goes out to thousands producers or agents -- and you'll hear back in 1 or 2 days, sometimes within hours.  We can help you send out postal queries, too.  And see our testimonials from dozens of clients.

We have about 2700 contacts in our databases -- about 1700 producers and production companies and 900 agents and managers, who not only handle scripts but also represent actors, actresses, and directors.  Plus now we have five new databases -- about 500 film distributors, 4000+ film and TV directors, 100 casting directors, 200 entertainment lawyers, and 250 film festival contacts.

While you can gather names and contact information and send your own e-mail queries or letters, we save you many hours of doing your own research.  Plus our letter review can make all the difference in whether your query is read and attracts interest.

We send out your query under your own e-mail or send you a file of letters and envelopes or labels to print on your letterhead and mail yourself.   We offer both approaches, since some industry people still prefer or require mail queries, and some do not make their e-mails available.

We differ from other screenplay query services in several ways:

  • We send you a report of the companies contacted and the names of the contacts.

  • We have a larger database.

  • We personally review and give you feedback on all query letters we send out, and can write your letter for you.

  • We offer a postal query service to companies that are not receptive to e-mails, though most clients send e-queries.

  • Our database includes agents and managers of actors, actresses, and directors.

We additionally provide tips on how to write a good query letter and how to follow-up to interested film industry contacts.

Plus we now have a book -- Sell Your Book, Script or Column -- that will help you write a great query, as well as know how to best contact producers, agents, or publishers and follow-up.  It's only $10, and you can apply the purchase price to your first query, so it's FREE!.  Click here for details.

As a first time customer, we'll give you $20 off your first query to film producers/production companies and agents/managers -- or pass on this offer to a friend.  Fill out the form below, send us your e-mail, use our service within the next 7 days, and let us know to give you the discount when you place your order.

We're a division of Publishers And Agents.net, which offers similar services to connect writers of books, articles, and columns with editors, publishers, agents, and syndicate services.  Publishers and Agents was featured in a story in the Wall Street Journal on using e-mail queries. We have been expanding and now have these additional query services to connect:

You can see more news about our clients and our company in our PR and Media section, which features press releases and clips.  Creative Director Gini Graham Scott is actively involved in the Bay Area writing and film community and was a panelist on "Getting Your Script Produced" at the Oakland Film Festival held last year in Oakland, California.  She has gained interest in several scripts and TV projects using this service herself, including a reality/game show project Do You Look Like Your Dog?, a TV special Homicide by the Rich and Famous, and 7 scripts represented by Marcus Bryan & Associates, a WGA-Signatory agency, including Starting Again, Royal Flush, The Parking Lot, Kill-Net, Why I Killed My Teacher, Wild Child, and Return of the Maya.
